1.Single Door Refrigerator:
These are the type of conventional design of refrigerators that have a single door. The inside of the refrigerator is divided into three sections. Having a freezer at the top, a fridge in the middle and a vegetable bin at the bottom, they are the most simplistic type. Single door refrigerators are considered to be entry level refrigerators as they take up less space and have low capacity.
2.Double Door Refrigerator:
Going by the name one can understand that these type of refrigerators have two doors. They are bigger in size and more efficient than single door refrigerators. One door is for the vegetable and fridge section and the other is for the freezer section. Double door refrigerators come with a capacity of 250-600 liters. Heat escape is reduced due to the presence of two doors in these categories of refrigerators.
3.Bottom Mounted Refrigerator:
These refrigerators have a unique design concept. The freezer section is located at the bottom with large chambers to store frozen food. The vegetable and fridge section is housed in the freezer section. The best thing about these refrigerators is that it is very convenient for the users as one does not have to bend to take out vegetables and other utilities of daily use from the refrigerator.
These refrigerators are designed in the shape of a cupboard and have two doors side by side. Having large storage capacities of up to 810 liters, they may have features like water and ice dispensers. You can fill glasses without opening the door which prevents heat escape and saves energy. Side-by-Side Refrigerators are slowly picking up the preference of consumers as they have more capacity and look more appealing.
